The River of History in Light and Shadow

My journey in Zhongshan began at the Lighting Culture Museum in the ancient town of Dengdu. This museum, themed around unique lighting culture, showcases the development and evolution of lighting fixtures over hundreds of years. Upon entering the museum, I was greeted by various shapes of ancient lamps and exquisite lighting decorations, each containing a story. I paused by the traditional handmade lamps, mostly made of copper, iron, wood, and glass, with intricate carvings and complex patterns that left me in awe. Under the illumination, these ancient lighting decorations seemed to come to life, telling me the history and culture of the ancient town. The museum's exhibition is divided into several areas, and the part that impressed me the most was the 'Evolution of Lamps'. From simple oil lamps and kerosene lamps to modern electric lamps, the birth of each type of lamp is closely related to the progress of the times. Especially when I saw the giant lantern model, feeling the inheritance of lantern culture, I couldn't help but feel a deep respect for the rich culture of this land.
