Follow my itinerary, stroll through it and feel the pulse of this city. 📍Morning: Sunwen West Road Pedestrian Street As the morning sun shines, we first arrive at Sun Yat-sen West Road Pedestrian Street. This is one of the landmarks of Zhongshan. The Nanyang-style arcade building is full of exotic charm. Walking through it and admiring the exquisite carvings and colored glass, it feels like traveling back to the old times. There are many specialty shops on both sides of the street. You can pick up some souvenirs to commemorate your trip. 📍Noon: Taste time-honored delicacies I'm tired from shopping and hungry. Just find an old restaurant in the alleys of the old city. Try the Shiqi pigeon, a specialty of Zhongshan, which has a golden and crispy skin and tender and juicy meat; and the Shaxi braised pork, which is fatty but not greasy and melts in your mouth. Paired with a bowl of fragrant clay pot rice, it is a feast for your taste buds. 📍Afternoon: Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall After lunch, we took a short rest and went to the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall. This place was built to commemorate Mr. Sun Yat-sen, and the museum houses a large number of precious cultural relics and historical materials. Through these exhibits, you can gain a deeper understanding of Sun Yat-sen's life and revolutionary spirit, and feel his great contribution to China's modernization. 📍Evening: Qijiang Park In the evening, we arrived at Qijiang Park. Take a walk along the river bank and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the sunset shining on the river. There are many landscapes in the park that have been transformed from industrial relics, which have a unique flavor. You can also choose to take a cruise and enjoy the night view of the old town from the water. The lights are bright and beautiful.
