His virtues are forever cherished

To commemorate Wang Renkan, the people of Zhenjiang built a 'Wang Gong Temple' to the south of Zhongling Spring on Mount Jingshan in the western suburbs, and constructed an octagonal pavilion by the spring, named 'Jian Pavilion', symbolizing Wang Renkan's noble spirit and integrity, as clear and reflective as the pool water. In 2017, to present the precious historical materials of Wang Renkan's diligent and honest governance to future generations, Zhenjiang established the Wang Renkan Memorial Hall. The couplet inside the hall reads: 'For the people, he loved, cared, and closely connected with great deeds that will be forever recorded in history; with honest, diligent, and practical governance, his noble spirit and integrity enlighten the future generations,' which is a high summary of Wang Renkan's official demeanor.
