It was first built during the reign of Emperor Yizong of the Tang Dynasty. (860-874 AD). The nine-story pavilion-style tower is 40.98 meters high. The height of each floor of the tower decreases gradually, and the structure is unique. The center of the fourth floor of the tower, There is a wooden pillar that reaches the top of the tower. The structure is unique. It retains the architectural styles of the Song and Jin dynasties. (Figure 9-Figure 12.) (4): Kaiyuan Temple: Sumeru Pagoda. Located in Kaiyuan Temple in Zhengding County. It was first built in the tenth year of Zhenguan period of Tang Dynasty (636). The tower is 42.5 meters high. It is a nine-story square brick tower with dense eaves. (Like the Big Wild Goose Pagoda in Xi'an) The tower is simple and ancient, beautiful and magnificent. There are square doors on the front of each floor. Wind chimes are hung on the four corners.
