Landscape: The rooms are all high-rise, basically facing the sea on three sides, or more accurately, the bay. In the distance, you can see a beautiful beach and swaying coconut trees. The advantage of staying on a high floor is that you get to see the New Year's fireworks show, which is something you wouldn't dare dream of in a big city. Room: The basic rooms are 40-50 square meters, with a large bathtub in the bathroom. There's also a daybed next to the bed, which seems like it could sleep another person. The large floor-to-ceiling window is right next to the desk, and if you move the sofa over, you can enjoy a sea view while lounging. Activities: Although the Sheraton is an old hotel, its five-star facilities are still robust. There's an executive lounge on the top floor with soft drinks and light meals. On the fourth, fifth, and sixth floors, there are indoor and outdoor bars plus a swimming pool, which are brightly lit at night. The rooftop club also opens at midnight, with handsome men and beautiful women dressed up and lively in attendance. Dining: In Guangdong, hotel buffets definitely can't compare to restaurants and late-night food stalls, but they do offer special rice noodle rolls and fresh congee, so getting full and satisfied is no problem. There's also a special Cantonese restaurant where you can order à la carte. Don't forget to take out a cup of the neighborhood lemon tea that started in Zhanjiang and became famous nationwide. Service: The room upgrade was very smooth, and they gave us a sea-facing room in advance. They were responsive to our requests. The swimming pool lacked lifeguards and service staff. The parking aunt downstairs was very nice, she specifically found us a parking spot, which was heartwarming. This level of quality is basically unbeatable in Zhanjiang.
