Where Avatar and awesomeness combine!

Whilst Zhangjiajie is most famously known for being the location for filming some of the Avatar movie, it’s actually a huge area full of cool things to do! If Avatar is your thing then of course you don’t want to miss that view but around this area is incredible hiking also. And whilst the hordes of tourists during holiday season might put you off the main attraction, a little walk from the beaten track and you will find yourself among some incredibly beautiful scenery where you can enjoy a much more peaceful day. For those worried they might not be fit enough for the hike or physically unable, don’t be. There are buses, escalators and elevators available if you want them, however they are pricey and the queue can be long during peak times. #china #avatar #hiking
