Detailed 2 Day (of 4) Itinerary for Zhangjiajie - Zhangjiajie National Forest Park

📝Here is some guidance for visiting the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park in two days. 🌅I recommend staying within Wulingyuan. We started our day at around 8am, grabbing some cheap, local breakfast from one of the numerous food options nearby (5-10 yuan per person, plus some extra to bring for lunch). From our hotel, it was around a 20-30 minute walk to the National Forest Park (East Entrance). 💵 Adult ticket prices: 298 yuan Student prices: 238 yuan If you are a student, you will need photo ID (eg passport) and your student ID. These ticket prices cover entry into the park for four days after purchase along with use of the coaches within the park. This also includes unlimited use of the Bailong Elevator and all cable cars within the park. Alternatively, there are other deals at cheaper prices. Day 1: Route B 🧭 Entering through the East Entrance (at the edge of Wulingyuan), take the bus to the Lower Station of the Bailong Elevator. Proceed to ride the elevator, and then walk towards the Bailong Elevator bus stop. Here, get the bus to the Enchanting stop where you take a short, scenic walk (including views of Heaven Pillar and Greatest Natural Bridge) to Tianqiao bus stop. 🚎 Take the bus to the Intersection of Wulong Village. From here, you can ride the Yangjiajie cableway down the mountainside and the back up if included in the price of the ticket (else is 76 yuan one way). 🚶♀️Alternatively, you can also take a walk roughly 3 hour walk down and up the mountainside (or walk for however long you see fit). 🚎 From the same bus stop, get the bus to Tianzi Mountain (Helong Park Stop) where there are many viewing platforms to visit. Afterwards, take the bus to the TianZi Upper Cableway Station where you can take the cableway (72 yuan per person if not included in the ticket) back down to the mountain, and then a bus to the exit of the park. This took us to around 19:00, after which you can wander around and enjoy the night life of Wulingyuan. Day 2: Route B (again) 🚎 Entering through the East Entrance again, take the same bus but get off at the Water Winding Four Gates stop. 🏞️From here, you walk ~1.5 km along a river at the base of the mountains until you reach the LaoMo Wan (Oxygen Square). This should take ~2-3 hours, including time to take in the sights and take breaks. 🚠Next, take a 2 minute bus ride to the Lower Station of the HuangShi cableway. Take this up to HuangShi Village (65 yuan one way if not already included in the ticket price). Up here, walk a 2 hour loop along a scenic path, before taking the Cableway back down. 🚎Afterwards, take the bus back to the Oxygen Square, and then follow the signs to exit the park out the South Exit. 🚕 From here, we took a 20 minute taxi (~33 yuan) back into Wulingyuan, but you can also get a bus back into Zhangjiajie city to conclude the day. 🐒General disclaimer: keep a hold of your b
