A magical trip to Zhangjiajie: Wulingyuan in the rain.

On the high-speed train leaving Zhangjiajie, I looked at the photos I took of the little elves in Zhangjiajie. When they flew past me in groups, they seemed like creatures from another planet. During my two days in Zhangjiajie, it was cloudy and rainy, which I liked. I didn't have to worry about getting sunburned while climbing mountains or being disappointed by the white fog. Zhangjiajie is famous for its four scenic spots: Wulingyuan, Tianmen Mountain, Fenghuang Ancient Town, and Furong Town. I chose Wulingyuan and Fenghuang Ancient Town. Wulingyuan is China's first national forest park. Tianmen Mountain, which is now more popular, is also "suspected" of taking advantage of Wulingyuan's popularity. Zhangjiajie City was originally named Dayong City. Zhangjiajie was originally a region in Wulingyuan. After the beautiful scenery of Wulingyuan became known to the world, Dayong City was renamed Zhangjiajie City. So now Zhangjiajie is a prefecture-level city that includes Tianmen Mountain and covers an area of more than 9,000 square kilometers. If I had to choose only one, I would definitely choose Wulingyuan. It is the representative work of Zhangjiajie and a unique and irreplaceable natural heritage in the world. As for Tianmen Mountain, I will visit it in a different season.
