I took the Gornergrat Railway from Zermatt, Switzerland, and went to the observatory at the final stop! A very beautiful and majestic glacier spreads out before you. The weather can change quickly, so check the weather conditions with the live camera before boarding the mountain railway. Zermatt often has bad weather, so plan a few extra days in your itinerary to ensure you can sightsee on a clear day.
