Stunning View of Matterhorn from Gornergrat

#wintertrip 📍Gornergrat, Switzerland 🇨🇭 One of the must visit places once in a lifetime, the Gornergrat! With an altitude of 3,089m, Gornergrat offers the majestic and breathtaking view of Matterhorn! We were very lucky to have a clear day with great visibility and the views were just out of the world! Switzerland is literally heaven on earth! While Matterhorn is the main attraction, the glaciers surrounding Gornergrat were mesmerising too! We took the train ride from Zermatt to the peak of Gornergrat, smooth and scenic ride, we love it! The top station has a café, gift shop, a small church, a few view points of the peak and for pictures! We spent around 2-3hours at the peak taking photos, taking in the views and had our lunch at the café! Be sure to layer yourself with thick clothes and coats to keep yourself warm! 10/10 recommending this destination! ✨ #switzerland #christmastrip #gornergrat
