Zaanse Schans

Zaanse Schans The windmills of Zaanse Schans are one of the most famous places to see these historical windmills in The Netherlands. Follow a day trip or take the sightseeing bus to reach these beautiful windmills. They are housed in a wonderful little site so it is easy to get around, there are also food options around and a shoe making factory. The nearby museum has a shop too if you like to get some souvenirs. It can get rainy so bring along an umbrella or raincoat.
