Traveling from Tokyo to GALA Yuzawa, a famous ski resort in Niigata Prefecture, is very convenient and popular, especially during winter, as you can take the Shinkansen directly. ⸻ How to get there: 1. By Shinkansen (fastest and most recommended) Route: • Take the Joetsu Shinkansen (上越新幹線) from Tokyo Station. • Get off at GALA Yuzawa Station. The journey takes about 75–90 minutes, depending on the type of train (such as Tanigawa or Max Tanigawa).
