Yuyao Siming Lake

Siming Lake is located in Liangnong Town, Yuyao, Ningbo City, in the northern part of Siming Mountain, about 10 kilometers away from Yuyao City. The scenery is beautiful, with rippling blue waves, and the lake and mountains reflect each other. The lake surface area is nearly 20 square kilometers. Siming Lake is located in the southern part of Yuyao City, with an area twice that of West Lake in Hangzhou. The lake is dotted with islands of various sizes, surrounded by overlapping peaks and numerous ancient sites around the lake. The resort consists of four parts: entertainment, sightseeing, accommodation, and dining. With its primitive, beautiful, and natural charm, along with surprising, exciting, and novel entertainment facilities and services, it has become a desirable destination for people living in cities. Yutu Island in the center of the lake is the largest island in Siming Lake, with an area of about 250 acres. Its shape is very similar to a jade rabbit, especially on moonlit nights, when viewed from the lakeside, it looks like a jade rabbit worshiping the moon, which is very beautiful. The island is covered with green pines and bamboo, orchards, and tea gardens all over the mountains, with winding mountain paths that are ancient, simple, and serene, making people feel relaxed and happy. Yutu Island has now been developed into Siming Lake Resort and has become a popular leisure and vacation spot in eastern Zhejiang. Around the lake, there are also scenic spots such as the second largest library in eastern Zhejiang, Wugui Tower, and Baishuichong.
