Weekend plans? Go climb Sanqing Mountain!

1️⃣ Transportation: Very convenient. After exiting Shangrao High-Speed Railway Station, there are very prominent signs indicating the Sanqing Mountain customized route. Just follow the signs. The buses are small to medium-sized vans with frequent departures, going to Waishuangxi and Jinsha. I spent 40 yuan to get to Waishuangxi. 2️⃣ Cable car options: On the day I went (November 30), there was no need to queue at Waishuangxi and Gangshou cable cars, and the rides were very smooth, but Jinsha still required waiting in line. Note that Jinsha will also be under maintenance in December, so plan your trip accordingly. 3️⃣ Time and stamina: I took the Waishuangxi cable car up and down the clockwise big loop trail (did not visit Sanqing Palace), which took over 4 hours. Normally, everyone can complete the big loop in one day. The difficulty level is not that high. I highly recommend visiting the West Coast section, which is my favorite scenery. 4️⃣ Temperature and clothing: Today's temperature ranged from 2 to 22 degrees Celsius. I wore a shell jacket with a fleece layer underneath. I didn’t wear the mid-layer at all since the sun was shining brightly, and it wasn’t cold while hiking. 5️⃣ Accommodation options: There are folk inns and hotels near the three cable car stations at the foot of the mountain. There are also plenty of lodging options on the mountain, including campsites, hotels, mountain villas, and homestays, mostly located near the cable cars. 6️⃣ Supplies: The mountain has well-equipped facilities, with rest stops and small shops widely distributed, usually every 10-20 minutes. Restrooms are generally near the shops, which is very convenient. There are also places to drink tea and eat, mainly concentrated near Goddess Peak. Prices are marked up but still acceptable.
