Living in Dali, Yunnan

🌸Waking up in the morning, sunlight streams through the curtains onto the bed, accompanied by the cheerful songs of birds, making this small town seem full of life. I get up, take the cup in my hand, and sip the steaming coffee, savoring its rich flavor and gentle warmth. This is the time in Dali, Yunnan, warmed by the sun, fragrant with coffee, enjoying the comfortable slow pace of life. 🌵Walking along the alleys of the ancient town, a five-minute walk takes you to Erhai Lake. Blue skies and white clouds, rippling waves, this is one of the most beautiful places in Yunnan and a favorite leisure spot for Dali residents. Listening to the sound of waves and wind, you will forget the busy city and trivial matters, enjoying this rare freedom and tranquility. 🍲The food in Dali is also worth mentioning. In the morning, there are many authentic breakfast options, such as rice noodles, mixed noodles, and egg pancakes. At noon, you can go to Sifang Street to taste many delicious snacks, like five-spice fish skin, grilled cheese, and roast duck. In the evening, you can experience the fire pit meal in the alleys of Dali, eating grilled skewers, grilled lamb, and drinking butter tea, enjoying the strong aroma of barbecue. 🎭Dali has many creative shops, each corner has its scenery, and you can spend a whole day wandering around the ancient town of Dali. Some cute little shops are like a clever maze, always full of surprises. My favorite is a shop with many colorful balloons hanging, sitting at the door with a smile, feeling the leisure and tranquility here. 🌸During my days in Dali, I did not deliberately arrange to visit the recommended attractions on the guide, but quietly walked through Dali, discovering and appreciating the unique aspects of this city. The time spent with Dali is like a companionship, allowing you to appreciate the charm of Yunnan. It is a small town and an incomparable emotion. Here, I enjoyed the feeling of being pampered, reminiscing the laughter and the beauty in the pictures.
