Baisha Ancient Town is one of the three towns in Lijiang. Compared to Lijiang Ancient Town, it is gradually becoming commercialized, but still retains some traditional buildings. If you plan to visit, set off early. It is said that you can see Jade Dragon Snow Mountain up close here, but I didn't see it due to the weather when I visited. You must spend at least CNY 35 to take a photo with the snow mountain on the second floor. It's worth a try if the weather is good. The stone-paved roads in the ancient town are very charming. There are many shops on both sides, including clothing stores, restaurants, and cafes with a strong sense of design. Some homestays are under renovation. Overall, it gives a strange feeling of "old wine in new bottles," but this is the helpless choice of all ancient towns. Compared to skyscrapers, you can still find some tranquility here!
