Lijiang｜A hidden village at the foot of the snow-capped mountains-Yuhu Village

When my trip to Yunnan arrived at Lijiang Station, I did not choose the bustling ancient town, but stayed in the secluded and quiet village [Yuhu Village] at the foot of the snow-capped mountains. Yuhu Village is 18 kilometers away from the ancient city of Lijiang. Yuhu Village is one of the earliest settlements of the Naxi ancestors and one of the ancient villages with the most complete architectural features. Houses, walls and roads are all made of glacial stone. The houses in the village are built on the mountain, well-proportioned and nestled at the foot of the mountain. ✔️Every villager in the village has flowers and every family raises a horse🐴. If you don’t want to walk, you can also ride a horse to Longnv Lake. It costs 30-50 yuan per person, and you can negotiate the price. ✔️There are several very artistic coffee shops in the village☕. It’s super comfortable to have a cup of coffee and sit in the yard or terrace to bask in the sun and look at the snow-capped mountains. ✔️There are not many B&B hotels in the village, but they are very unique. You must stay here for one night and slowly feel the culture and environment here. The hotel we stayed in also took us up the mountain to pick pine cones, which were big and beautiful. ✔️Dragon Girl Lake is a must-visit place. It is a lake next to the large lawn at the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. The lake is sparkling and the snow-capped mountains are reflected in it. It is extremely beautiful! 📌Must check in: 🔸Go to your book A very different book bar. It only sells two books owned by the shopkeeper, and the other books are available for borrowing by children in the village. There is a sunny courtyard where you can drink tea, read a book, or chat with the guys in the store. 🔸Pushi Coffee It is a shop that integrates B&B 🏨, cafe ☕ and clothing handicrafts. You can see the snow-capped mountains and Yuhu Village from the terrace. The scenery is very nice~ but you have to pay to take pictures on the terrace📸. 🔸Ruixi Snow Island Wild Luxury Fragrance Hotel We stayed in this hotel for two nights. The room was large and there were many activities. Highly recommended. 📌Tips: ▪️Ultraviolet rays are very strong this season, so use sun protection. ▪️If you drive by yourself and stay in the village, the hotel will report that you can drive into the village. If you don’t live there, you need to park at the Yuhu Square at the entrance of the village and take a sightseeing bus into the village (30 yuan per person)
