Stepping into Yufuin in the morning, the air carries a slight chill and the aroma of hot springs. We walked along a quiet path towards Lake Kinrin, its shores gently shrouded in mist. The water's surface resembled a soft mirror, reflecting the mountains and clouds, like stepping into a delicate watercolor painting. The lakeside path wasn't long, but every step was poetic. An occasional breeze rippled the surface, and when sunlight pierced through the mist, the lake shimmered with shimmering gold—no wonder it's called "Lake Kinrin." We strolled slowly, appreciating the beauty, letting time soften here. Leaving the lakeside, wandering through Yunotsubo Street was another pleasure. Lively shops, the aroma of crepes and sweets, and charming little stores—everything exuded a relaxed traveler's atmosphere. The streets were unhurried, and although there were many people, the atmosphere remained warm and inviting. In Yufuin, slowing down is the perfect way to go. Find a café to sit in, admire the silhouette of Mount Yufu, listen to the wind, and watch travelers come and go. In this small town, we too become part of the scenery. Yufuin is beautiful—beautiful in its tranquility, beautiful in its leisure, beautiful in its ability to make you forget time. And Lake Kinrin, shrouded in morning mist, is a sight that is unforgettable at first glance.
