The first 3km is the climbing section, keep a good pace, there is no pine forest cover during this period, so be prepared for sun protection. The mountain ridges on both sides of the climb are beautiful and are the main scenic sections. Walk more at high points for unexpected views; 3-8km pine forest and tractor road sections, not much wind, especially cool, occasionally encountering cattle in the forest, and off-road vehicles going up the mountain on the tractor road, be careful to give way; 8-13km downhill and river channel, after the rain, the essence of Matian Ridge streams, a chance encounter, there are many cattle in the river channel, and also 2-month-old fenced lambs. 🏞Hiking tips There is no public toilet at the starting point of the hike, use the highway service area, there are public toilets and supermarkets at the end; 】Matian Ridge is generally at a higher altitude, hiking is very sunny, with strong ultraviolet rays, be sure to be fully sun-protected; Go at the beginning of June, there are many small cattle in the mountains, not yet grown, take photos⚠️keep a distance; Matian Ridge has many flowers, rouge flowers, spotted grass, pipsissewa, dandelions, rehmannia, rice bags, etc., if you like to take pictures of flowers, be sure to do it early, you may not encounter them later; Drones can be flown, there are many pine forests around, be careful to avoid them; ⚠️Warm tips Matian Ridge is at a high altitude, be sure to check the weather forecast when coming, if the forecast is for level 3 wind, there can actually be level 6-8 strong winds on the mountain, be sure to wear a windbreaker and thick warm clothes; ◆Matian Ridge streams only exist after the rain, choose to come after heavy or torrential rain, the streams will be very big; ◆Matian Ridge is far from Beijing, be sure to control the return time, the one-way trip takes about 4 hours.
