Enjoy the abundant nature of Totsukawa in the "Village in the Sky"!

The "Sky Village" in Totsukawa Village, Nara Prefecture, is a French-style outdoor facility built by Frenchman Dylan together with two French engineers. You can enjoy the rich nature of Totsukawa in your favorite style, whether you want to relax in a treehouse, take an aerial walk across a transparent suspension bridge, or take a nap or read a book in a tree. [Photo 1] The treehouse is 11 meters above the ground and built on top of a 300-year-old fir tree. It seems that the length and angle of the pillars have been adjusted to keep the tree level. [Photos 2 and 3] To get to the treehouse, you cross a special suspension bridge. I was excited to feel like I was on a little adventure! [Photos 4 and 5] The interior is simple and cute! The surroundings are very quiet, so even just sitting on the sofa is very relaxing. [Photo 6] The staff uses a pulley to lift the free organic coffee from below. [Photo 7] The autumn leaves were so beautiful! [Photos 8-10] The Aerial Walk is a different type of suspension bridge area from the one leading to the tree house. This suspension bridge is higher and sways more strongly. Once you get the hang of it, you'll be able to cross it smoothly, but at first it was harder to walk across than I thought it would be. [Photo 11] The fasteners on the suspension bridge and tree house are designed to not damage the trees, and are also adjusted to match the growth of the trees. When you lie down on it, the gentle swaying even when you're not doing anything is exquisitely comfortable. It was a day where I was able to relax in the great outdoors, move my body on an aerial walk, and refresh both my body and mind! By the way, the staff collect all of these cushions and stuffed animals at the end of business. In addition, the staff frequently go around each area to replenish the coffee and hot water in the observation space.
