A niche boat-shaped village from the Yuan Dynasty over 700 years ago

In Yongjia's Dawo Rock Town, there is an ancient boat-shaped village, backed by Jiuluo Mountain and facing Wushan Mountain. There are cliffs like rosy clouds, water like jade, and lush trees; 【Daitou Ancient Village】 is a perfect combination of Yongjia's natural and cultural landscapes. The terrain slopes from west to east, its shape is like a boat, hence it is called the boat-shaped land. Beyond the beautiful mountains and waters, the ancient village has a profound cultural heritage of local customs and family education. There have been many private schools since the Qing Dynasty. 【History】 The history of Daitou dates back to the Southern Song Dynasty. The ancestors of the Chen family moved from Lishui Qingtian (historically, Qingtian has always been part of Wenzhou) to Zhu'an Village. Daitou Ancient Village was built during the reign of Emperor Shun of the Yuan Dynasty (1335-1340), and it has been 700 years so far. Chen's ancestral hall, Jicui Temple, Mozhu Pond, Mozhu Shengxiang, Yuhou Temple, Qulu, Huazhu Temple (also known as Luban Temple), Songfeng Shuiyue. (Wolonggang is a good spot to overlook the ancient village) The most prominent is a Songfeng Shuiyue) a gate platform, located on the hillside, close to the highest Wolonggang in the ancient village. (Figure 45) Pine waves, mountain wind, mirror water, bright moon, here to study and discuss, brew tea and rest, it is like cultivating immortals. The gate platform is exquisitely carved with bats, sika deer, pines and cypresses, willow trees, orioles, and the four blessings of fortune, longevity, and happiness. There were originally five gate platforms here, implying the meaning of five blessings coming to the door. Later, two were demolished during the turbulent years, leaving only three.
