Shanxi Pujiao Temple｜Entering the Mountains to Seek Tranquility

Pujiao Temple is a historically renowned Buddhist temple of the Ten Directions Zen tradition, with highly prestigious halls and a very long history dating back to the Sui Dynasty. It was originally called "Xiyongqing Courtyard" and was renamed "Pujiao Temple" during the Later Han period. Because the temple is the setting of the story "Romance of the Western Chamber," it has become a "holy place of love," earning the reputation of "Temples in the world do not talk about love, only Shanxi Pujiao Temple does."
