There are many ways to get to Everland and booking one of the direct bus rides is my frequently used method. Depending on which service provider you choose and which hotel you stay, you can board the morning buses at these popular tourist places, Hongdae, Myeongdong and Dongdaemun. Then on the way back, you also can choose to alight at any of the drop off points. Just let the person-in-charge know. By taking the direct bus, the journey to Everland is about 90 minutes and you can also continue sleeping on the bus. However, the return bus will be in the evening so you will not be able to stay until later at Everland to catch the fireworks.
