[Yamagata] Enjoy a 300-year-old bath at the indoor bath at Yutaki-no-Yado Nishiya in Shirabu Onsen

Introducing the indoor bath at Yutaki no Yado Nishiya in Shirabu Onsen, Yamagata ♨️ Shirabu Onsen gushes out 1,500 liters per minute, and Nishiya uses 400 liters of that, so the water in the bath was constantly flowing 😳 It is a free-flowing hot spring that is not heated or disinfected, and the water is very soft, so my skin felt moisturized after the bath 🫠 *The source is hot, so they add water to make it just the right temperature. The large bath is only an indoor bath, but it is designed so that you can feel the outside breeze, so you can cool down when you get out of the bath, and you can also enjoy a little outdoor bath feeling 🌱 Also, to have the experience of the hot spring cure of those days, there are no showers or faucets, so you can scoop up the hot spring water in a bucket and pour it over your head to wash your hair! I've been to many hot springs, but this was my first time experiencing a large bath without a shower, so it was a fun experience 🤤 ~~~~~~~~~~ Shirabu Onsen Water quality: calcium sulfate hot spring Source temperature: 56.8 degrees Bath temperature: 42 degrees Suitable for: arteriosclerosis, neuralgia, muscle pain, joint pain, frozen shoulder, poor circulation, fatigue recovery, health promotion, etc. ~~~~~~~~~~~ #Tohoku tourism #Shirabu Onsen #Yutaki no Yado Nishiya #Yamagata #hot spring #hot spring trip #hot spring inn #Japan Association for the Preservation of Secret Hot Springs #Yonezawa #indoor bath

Yonezawa Castle Ruins / Matsugasaki Park

Lotus pond Lotus flowers are abundant in the northwest part of the moat around Matsugasaki Park and Uesugi Shrine! I thought that lotuses bloom from mid-June to early August, but depending on the location and climate, they were in full bloom even in late August. I also thought that the best time to see lotus flowers was in the morning, but I was able to see many flowers even during the lunch hour. You can get quite close to see them. The address of Matsugasaki Park and Uesugi Shrine is Marunouchi 1-chome, Yonezawa City, Yamagata Prefecture. It is about 23 minutes from Minami Yonezawa Station and 27 minutes from Yonezawa Station. #Yamagata #Yonezawa #Summer trip #Hanami
