The meeting place is the Kadena Town Hija River Nature Experience Center. This is a facility that just opened in April 2022. The beautiful building has changing rooms, lockers, and hot showers that can be used free of charge when participating in a tour. In addition, before the tour experience, we were able to listen to the guide talk about the history of the Hija River and the creatures that live there in the exhibition room inside the building, which was very educational. This time we participated in a kayaking tour. Before departure, we were given a thorough lecture on how to ride and row a kayak, so even first-timers can enjoy it with confidence. Once you're ready, it's time to go! Unlike kayaking in the sea, there were no waves in the mangroves and we were able to row gently. At various points during the tour, the guide will tell you interesting stories and take lots of photos. The tour takes about 2 hours.
