🧱☆The unique curves of the chalk wall are a delight to the eyes😲 Founded in the early 15th century by the castle builder Misamaru, who later built Nakajo Castle. It is now a World Cultural Heritage Site and a nationally designated historic site/No. 199 of Japan's 100 Selected Castles. 🧱☆It is very well maintained and the weeds on the castle walls have been cleared, highlighting the chalk stone walls and making it look amazing. 🧱A simple territory with only two curves, Corner 2 and Corner 1, each with only one entrance, and that entrance is an "arch". This is the first time that an arch is used in Okinawa Castle, and it is interlocked at the top in the middle of the arch. 🧱Climb to the top of the city wall from District 1, and you will be impressed by its width and height. Located at an altitude of about 127 meters, you can overlook the East China Sea, Urasoe, and Shuri from here. 🧱Moreover, when standing on the wall of the first siege city, it was discovered that its purpose of construction was to intercept foreign enemies invading the second siege city at one time through an arch. 🧱☆Parking and admission are free. Compared to Shurijo Castle, Katsuren Castle, and Nakajo Castle, there were fewer tourists here and the atmosphere was more relaxed, so I was able to enjoy my visit.
