Kanagawa Prefectural Museum of History

Located just a 1-minute walk from Bashamichi Station, the Kanagawa Prefectural Museum of History is housed in a historic building that was originally used as the Yokohama Specie Bank headquarters. This architectural gem has stood for over 120 years. The museum features exhibits that allow visitors to learn about the history of Kanagawa Prefecture. However, it is currently closed for renovations and will remain so until September 2026. While you cannot enter the building, its striking presence makes it worth a visit.
