A great start of the year is great with a nice vacation, and we were at Yokohama during New Year. We stayed at this hotel called Eashington Hotel Sakuragicho, located conveniently in front of the Sakuragicho station. The hotel is really huge with more than 300 rooms available, and we had the room facing directly to the Minato Mirai city view. The room is petite but all amenities available, and the service is great as well. Since I am Fujita member, we are also eligible to use the lounge specially for the members. We love this hotel and will definitely come back again.

全553室の客室を備え、チェックインは14:00、チェックアウトは10:00です。

・施設: 海側の客室やレストランからはみなとみらいの夜景が楽しめます。館内にはダイニング＆バー「ベイサイド」や24時間営業のコンビニもあります。
アメニティでナイトウェアがあるのも嬉しい☺️

・桜木町駅南改札を出てすぐ目の前に位置し、観光やビジネスに便利です。

ビューの良い高層階の客室でしたが、正直2名で泊まるにはだいぶ手狭な印象😅

ホテルステイを楽しむというよりは、立地がよく朝食も美味しいので、みなとみらい観光の拠点として魅力的なホテルでした🌿

I stayed at Yokohama Sakuragicho Washington Hotel🍒

This hotel is conveniently located, a 1-minute walk from JR Sakuragicho Station and a 3-minute walk from Bashamichi Station on the Minatomirai Line🌟

It has 553 rooms in total, and check-in is at 14:00 and check-out is at 10:00.

✍️Features:

・Facilities: You can enjoy the night view of Minatomirai from the ocean-facing rooms and restaurant. There is also a dining and bar called "Bayside" and a 24-hour convenience store in the building.

It's also nice that they provide nightwear as an amenity☺️

✍️Access:

・Located right in front of the south ticket gate of Sakuragicho Station, it is convenient for sightseeing and business.

✍️Parking: Paid parking (3,000 yen per night) is available, but it is first come first served.

✍️Services:

・Self-service check-in machines and quick check-in services for members are provided.

The room was on a high floor with a good view, but to be honest it felt quite cramped for two people. 😅
The only disappointment was that the bathroom was a unit bath, and the bathroom had a bit of an old-fashioned feel. 💦

Rather than enjoying a hotel stay, the location was great and the breakfast was delicious, so it was an attractive hotel as a base for sightseeing in Minato Mirai. 🌿

During my stay at Washington Hotel Yokohama I had my breakfast at Bayside Hotel which have a very nice view of Minato Mirai. The breakfast spread is very nice and scumptious and you can find all kinds of cuisines there. I took the spot where you can have the full view of Minato Mirai, and having breakfast while enjoying the view is really soothing and comforting. This time, they offered the roast beef for diners besides other food. This breakfast is excellent and I will definitely come again.

橫濱櫻木町華盛頓酒店位在櫻木町駅對面，一出站就看到, 過條馬路即能到達，酒店樓下就有一間7-11而且店面蠻大；選擇女性住宿方案的話會安排在18樓，並且在女性房間專屬區域會有一道門隔開需要拍房卡才能進入，為女性住客提供一個安全的住宿環境。海側房間採光很好景觀開揚面對港灣景觀，從房間就能觀賞港灣的日與夜美景真是賞心悅目！房間還提供女仕專用的吹風機，電髮夾，臉部蒸氣機還有一塊帶燈圈的鏡子方便女仕們化妝。雖然這酒店已經有一定的年紀，但以它位處的地點的方便度加上房間有如此的景觀還是蠻值得推薦的。

Yokohama Sakuragicho Washington Hotel is located opposite Sakuragicho Station. You can see it as soon as you exit the station and cross the street to reach it. There is a 7-11 downstairs of the hotel and the store is quite large. If you choose the female accommodation plan, you will be arranged on the 18th floor, and there will be a door separating the exclusive area for female rooms, which requires a room card to enter, providing a safe accommodation environment for female guests. The rooms on the sea side have good lighting and open views facing the harbor. It is really pleasing to the eye to enjoy the day and night beauty of the harbor from the room! The room also provides hair dryers, hair clips, facial steamers and a mirror with a light ring for ladies to put on makeup. Although this hotel is quite old, it is still worth recommending for its convenient location and the view from the room.

โรงแรมใกล้ใกล้สถานีรถไฟ เคเบิ้ล และห้างสรรพสินค้า  จากห้องพักสามารถมองเห็นวิวอ่าว ภายในตึกของโรงแรมชั้นล่างเป็นพลาซ่า มีร้านอาหารมากมาย  ใกล้ๆ กันก็มีห้างใหญ่หลายห้าง  ห้องพักค่อนข้างเก่า โดยเฉพาะพรมและเฟอร์นิเจอร์  พนักงานทำความสะอาดไม่ค่อยเรียบร้อย  ไม่มีการบริการน้ำดื่ม แต่ให้ลูกค้าดื่มน้ำจากก๊อกในห้องน้ำแทน  ราคาค่อนข้างสูงเมื่อเทียบกับคุณภาพ  และค่อนข้างไกลจากแหล่งท่องเที่ยวสำหรับการเดิน

A hotel near the train station, cable car and shopping mall. From the room, you can see the bay view. Inside the hotel building, the ground floor is a plaza with many restaurants. Nearby are several large shopping malls. The rooms are quite old, especially the carpets and furniture. The cleaning staff is not very neat. There is no drinking water service, but customers drink water from the tap in the bathroom instead. The price is quite high compared to the quality. And it is quite far from tourist attractions for walking.

下の階にはモスバーガーやセブン
HUBや居酒屋、銀だこがあり飲食には困らない場所です。

お部屋は少し狭めでバストイレ同じでしたが
部屋からの景色が良くて21階のお部屋からの景色は絶景でした！
また当日会員になれば会員専用ラウンジが使えて
ドリンクバーやアイスコーヒーが飲み放題でした。
またアメニティーを1人一個プレゼントもありました。
ラインナップはフェイスパックやボディシート、化粧水等のセット、口臭ケア等ありました。

桜木町からも近く
みなとみらいやワールドポーターにも利便性が良いのでみなとみらい近辺でまた遊ぶ時オススメなスポットとなっております！

I stayed at Sakuragicho Washington Hotel.

The hotel is a 1-minute walk from Sakuragicho Station.

The front desk was on the 5th floor.

On the floor below, there is a Mos Burger, a 7-Eleven, a HUB, an izakaya, and a Gindaco, so you won't have any trouble finding something to eat or drink.

The room was a little small and the bathroom and toilet were in the same room, but

the view from the room was great, and the view from the room on the 21st floor was spectacular!

If you become a member on the day, you can use the members-only lounge and enjoy unlimited drinks from the drink bar and iced coffee.

We also received one amenity per person.

The lineup included face masks, body sheets, lotion sets, and bad breath care products.

It's close to Sakuragicho and convenient to Minato Mirai and World Porter, so it's a recommended spot for when you're hanging out around Minato Mirai again!

Minato Mirai 21 Area, also known as Sakuragicho, is the most modern area of Yokohama. The best view is the bay overlooking the Ferris view and the City Hall buildings with Landmark Tower and Queens Tower. This hotel called Washington Hotel Sakuragicho, is strategically located in front of Sakuragicho station, where some of the rooms have excellent direct view to the bay. We got the family room and the view is excellent considering the price that we pay is very reasonable. Room is quite spacious and all amenities is provided, while breakfast is also good with a wide variety of food available. It's a very good choice of accommodation for business travelers to Yokohama.

During our stay in Yokohama we encountered this nice sushi shop callrd Maguromaya, which specialized in sushi and sashimi made from Bluefin tuna caught at Misakiguchi port, located inside the World Porters Mall. Their bluefin tuna sushi comes in various parts of the tuna, such as the chutoro, otoro and aka niku, and they also have other choices such as their king crab leg, salmon etc. Their seafood is extremely fresh and tasted heavenly, and the price is also quite reasonable too. We will definitely return again if we ever had the chance to visit Yokohama.
