Paid 1430yen per pax for a 30min session, where 2 persons share 1 fixed cage (you can only touch that 1 hedgehog), you cannot change cages (you can not touch more than 1 hedgehog). If you want to touch more than 1 hedgehog you'd have to opt for the 1h session. Also paid 440yen for a snack (live worm) for the hedgehog too. The hedgehog I was assigned to is unfortunately not interested in the worms. I have to say that this experience is sadly not for me. The hedgehog seem really scared and sleepy. When I tried to touch it, it will jump and in turn I'll jump too. I felt sooooo bad for scaring it. Had to forcefully carry/scoop them up (as advised by the staff) but even after doing so, it will run away really quickly. When I leave the hedgehog alone it will just sleep in a corner. Probably because it's a nocturnal animal afterall, which makes me wonder why isn't the opening hour at night instead. Left the place feeling a lil guilty and disappointed. Giving it 2 stars for the nice & friendly staff, the ability to get up close with the cute hedgehogs, and how the place is well-maintained & kept clean. Maybe I was just unlucky to get assigned to an inactive hedgehog.
