[Kanagawa Prefecture/Iseyama Kotaijingu] A shrine with a great view of the Landmark Tower

Iseyama Kotaijingu Shrine is the main shrine of Yokohama. Founded in 1870 (Meiji 3), it enshrines Amaterasu Omikami as the guardian deity of Yokohama city and its port. As such, it is popularly known as the "Oise-san of Kanto"! As the name Iseyama suggests, you will have to walk up a steep hill from the nearest Sakuragicho Station. However, on clear days, you can get a beautiful view of the landmark from the shrine grounds. After passing through the torii gate, you can even see red kochia flowers to the right!
