Trip to Yogyakarta, Indonesia 🇮🇩

It’s my third time to Yogyakarta, Indonesia. We started our journey with a visit to Candi Sambisari, a hidden gem 💎 located underground. This 9th-century Hindu temple 🛕 is serene and perfect for photography, especially in the early morning light ⛅️ The soft hues of dawn beautifully highlight the temple’s intricate carvings ✨ In the evening, we headed to Bukit Paralayang for a breathtaking sunset 🌇 This spot is quieter than the popular Mount Merapi ⛰️ viewpoints, and the panoramic view of the coastline is unforgettable 😍 Candi Sambisari 📍Sambisari, Purwomartani, Kalasan, Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta 55571 Bukit Paralayang 📍Pantai Parangtritis, Kretek, Bantul Regency, Yogyakarta 55772 We also explored the Taman Sari Water Castle 🏰 early in the day to avoid crowds. The maze of underground tunnels, pools, and old architecture makes it a dream for photographers 📸 The morning light filtering through the arches adds a magical touch 🙌 We then ventured to Sri Gethuk Waterfall. This spot felt like a hidden oasis. Surrounded by lush greenery, the cascading waters provided a refreshing escape and a stunning backdrop for pictures 📸 Taman Sari 📍Jl. Tamanan, Patehan, Kraton, Yogyakarta 55133 Sri Gethuk Waterfall 📍Bleberan, Playen, Gunung Kidul Regency, Yogyakarta 55861 Kebun Buah Mangunan (Mangunan Fruit Garden) is a MUST visit ‼️The clouds ☁️ floating below the hilltop created an ethereal atmosphere that’s perfect for landscape photography 📸 This spot offers views of the winding Oyo River surrounded by lush forests 🌳 We also strolled through Puncak Becici. The pine forest 🌳 here is serene and photogenic, especially when the sunlight ☀️ streams through the tall trees.
