Enjoy the cool atmosphere of Kalibiru

I used to think that the tourist destinations in Jogja were only culinary tours, palaces and historical heritage places such as temples. Turns out I was wrong. There are many natural attractions around Jogja which are interesting to visit. Even though it is not very close to the city of Yogyakarta. One of them is the Wisata Alam Kalibiru, a place that offers views of the Sermo Reservoir and a vast expanse of forest. Kalibiru is located in the Menoreh Hills area of Kulon Progo, about 1 hour drive from Jogja. In this place we can take pictures with a super nice view. After taking pictures, we can sit around while enjoying the cool atmosphere of Kalibiru, spending time until the afternoon and watching the sunset. I recommend that you come here on weekdays, so you can take pictures more freely and don't have to queue too long at each photo spot. #summervacation#hikingtrails

Kalibiru National Park

Is Kalibiru National Park too commercialized these days? The answer is yes. After taking an hour-ride from Yogyakarta, I found this area was only for fun but suitable for taking pictures. Many spots provided a large variety of activities with very beautiful scenic backdrops attached, of course visitors should pay the charges, such as Spot high rope (35K); Spot Panggung (15K); Spot 1 (Satu, 15K); Spot Bundar (15K); Spot 2 (Dua, 10K); Spot 3 (Tiga, 10K) and Spot Oval (10K) etc. Although safety precautions were impeccably implemented, I decided not to risk it. #wintergetaway #happynewyear #tripinspired #wintergetaway#tripinspired#happynewyear
