Lang Gong Ancestral Hall in Qianjia'an Village, Yizhang, Hunan

Located to the left of Gongyuan Ancestral Hall, Lang Gong Ancestral Hall features a unique architectural style with its two-story blue brick and tile timber structure. It showcases distinctive elements like a hard gable roof, fire walls, and hanging ridge walls (incorporating horse-head walls). The hall's decorations are simple yet refined, embodying the minimalist and practical aesthetics of ancient architecture. Built during the Qing Dynasty, the ancestral hall covers an area of approx. 170 sqm. Notable features include three flagpole stones at the entrance, a recessed-style front gate, a rectangular caisson ceiling above the entrance hall, and an obliquely set main door with stone door frames and thresholds. Inside, a courtyard leads to a rare fully stone-built moon gate in the second section, inscribed with the characters "Lang Gong Ancestral Hall." It is a key cultural relic protection unit of Chenzhou City.
