Wenfeng Tower

Wenfeng Tower is located in Longbei Mountain Forest Park, Xinlong Street, Yixing City, Wuxing City, Jiangsu Province (west side). It was originally named Chengyun Tower and was built in the 35th year of the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty (1607 AD). It was later destroyed and Wenfeng Tower was built not far from the southwest of Chengyun Tower when Longbei Mountain Forest Park was built. Wenfeng Tower is a landmark building of Longbei Mountain Forest Park. It has nine floors and is 108 meters high. It covers an area of 2,950 square meters. It is a Han and Tang style square tower. It is simple and elegant and is the commanding height of the entire park. Each floor of the tower displays Yixing's long-standing cultural landscape, folk stories, famous historical sites and deeds of famous people from all ages. Climbing up and looking around, you can enjoy the Yicheng Yindun, Sanguishengjing, and Taihu Smoke Wave.
