Longcanggou National Forest Park

Check-in location: Longcanggou Forest Park in Yingjing County, Ya'an City 🕙 Opening hours: 8 am to 6 pm. It is recommended to set off early, or you can choose to stay at a hotel close to the scenic area the day before, which can save more time for sightseeing. 🌲 Park environment: This national-level forest ecological park features lush vegetation, with many large trees that require several people to embrace, and many tree trunks are covered with moss and other plants, giving a sense of pristine ecology that is hard to find in ordinary parks or scenic areas. 🏃 Tour routes: After entering the park, you can choose to take a sightseeing bus and then walk back when you come down. The bus route is quite long, and walking on your own would take a lot of time and energy. There are three routes as follows: The first route: Starting from the park's main gate, you first pass by Longcang Hotel, Changhu Na Waterfall's beautiful scenery, and the Plant Exhibition Hall. Along the route, visitors will pass through Gaolou Hancang, Quxi Dieshui, Yingtan Villa, Baige Huanqin, and finally reach Dujuan Mountain Villa. The second route: Departing from the main gate, head to Quxi Dieshui, then to Da Bao Ding camping site, Shiqiao Feipu waterfall, enjoy Chenghu Zhaojuan, then visit the Dujuan Special Garden at Dujuan Mountain Villa, and finally return to the park's main gate. This route is suitable for visitors who like outdoor adventures and natural scenery. The third route: Departing from the main gate, pass through Quxi Dieshui and Dyed Green Pavilion, Drunken Frost Pavilion, Immortal's Seat, Jucui Pavilion, and Drinking Green Pavilion, also reaching Dujuan Mountain Villa, Shiqiao Feipu waterfall, Da Bao Ding camping site, and finally returning to Longcang Hotel. This route is relatively easy, with pleasant scenery along the way. We stayed in Yucheng District of Ya'an City on the first day and didn't arrive until after 11 am the next day. We walked inside the park the whole time, taking photos of the many waterfalls, and didn't leave until around 6 pm. We were two people, both in our thirties. Before entering the park, take a picture of the scenic area's guide map and follow the map. We chose the bottommost route. It includes the Heart-to-Heart Waterfall and Huaxi Liucui Waterfall. Ticket pre-purchase: You can buy tickets online or on-site. We bought tickets on-site and also consulted the scenic area staff about play methods and routes. Food recommendations: There are restaurants at the entrance of the scenic area where you can eat or buy things. There are also vending booths inside the park, but they are relatively few. It is suggested to bring some food and water with you. Accommodation recommendations: According to our itinerary, we drove there. We stayed in Yucheng District at night, strolling and eating in the city. You can also choose to stay at a hotel near the entrance of the scenic area the night before. Other suggestions: (1) Remember to bring essential items such as sunscreen, mosquito repellent, and for ladies, lipstick for touch-ups when taking photos. (2) Try to wear comfortable shoes, as there will be a lot of walking, and it's important to protect your feet. You can also bring a pair of slippers, as there are many waterfalls where you can play in the water and pick up small stones. (3) Pay attention to safety when taking photos, especially as the ground under the waterfalls is very wet and slippery. Do not make too large movements to prevent slipping.
