Natural Wonder: A Peak Forest Landscape Rivaling Guilin's

The Yingxi Peak Forest Corridor, located in the vicinity of Jiulong, Mingjing, and Yanbei Towns, about 60 kilometers southwest of Yingde City in Qingyuan, Guangdong Province, is the most densely packed peak forest gallery in Guangdong, earning it the reputation of "Southern China's Premier Peak Forest Scenery." Here, thousands of limestone peaks are densely distributed, with a geological structure similar to that of Guilin, belonging to the peak forest and peak cluster landforms. The peak forest, stretching over 20 kilometers, resembles a natural landscape painting. The peaks vary in shape, some resembling camels, some like generals, and others like Guanyin, all lifelike. The Yingxi Peak Forest Corridor is rich in attractions. The Dongtian Wonderland is a national AAAA-level scenic spot, where a stream flows through the mountain. The peaks of the Thousand Army Peak Forest all tilt eastward, resembling charging soldiers, presenting a magnificent spectacle. The Pengjia Ancestral Hall, initially built in the mid-Qing Dynasty, is constructed along the mountain slope and is known as the "Little Potala Palace," offering a glimpse into rich history and culture. The Tiger Valley Drift, the only underground river drift in the country that passes through a cave, allows visitors to experience thrills while admiring the cave's stalactites, which resemble the mythical "Guang Han Palace." This area is also a paradise for outdoor sports enthusiasts, including hiking, cycling, camping, and rock climbing. Visitors can hike along the peak forest trails, weaving through the mountains and rivers; cycle along country roads, experiencing the local atmosphere; or choose a suitable spot for camping and stargazing. In addition, the Yingxi Peak Forest Corridor is also home to the Yinghong No. 9 Tea Plantation, where tea trees and peak forests complement each other, creating a unique charm.
