In the autumn of 1933, when Mr. Liang Sicheng, a famous Chinese ancient architect, visited the Yingxian Wooden Pagoda, he said that Yingxian had three treasures: one is the Sakya Pagoda of the Fogong Temple, which is the Yingxian Wooden Pagoda, a unique great masterpiece in the world, a national treasure and a wonder of the world; the second is the caisson ceiling of the Tiangong Pavilion of the Jingtu Temple, which is ingeniously conceived, subtle, exquisite, and unparalleled, and is a national treasure; the third is a pair of stone lions in front of the Jingtu Temple's mountain gate, with "disheveled hair", unique shape, exquisite carving, and rare in the country. [Snowmen] The wooden carved ceiling and pavilions in the Main Hall enjoy a high reputation among ancient Chinese buildings. They are outstanding small wooden works from the Song, Liao and Jin dynasties and are extremely precious. The nine-eye caissons have different shapes, including octagonal, hexagonal and diamond-shaped. Among them, the heavenly palace pavilion-style caisson in the center of the main hall is the most complex and exquisite. [Snowmen] The stone lions have been severely weathered and their shapes are no longer clear. The Main Hall is the main hall of the temple and is an original from the Jin Dynasty. The green glazed edges of the grey tiles on the roof, the yellow-green glazed decorations on the ridge, and the fairy figure riding a phoenix at the end of the gable are all exquisite and unique, and particularly beautiful.
