A Glimpse of a Thousand Years—The Wooden Pagoda of Ying County

The Wooden Pagoda of Ying County, located in the Fogong Temple of Ying County in Shuozhou City, is officially known as the Sakyamuni Pagoda of Fogong Temple. Constructed in the second year of the Qingning era of the Liao Dynasty (1056), it is the tallest, oldest, and best-preserved wooden pagoda structure in China.
