Yichun City Museum

The Yichun City Museum is located at No. 536, Luzhou North Road, Yichun City, Jiangxi Province, and was established in 1979. In June 2010, the museum merged with the Cultural Relics Management Office. The museum covers an area of 2,112 square meters and has a building area of 11,400 square meters. The Yichun City Museum's architectural design includes five floors, with one underground and four above ground. It is divided into three major functional areas: the cultural relics storage and collection protection area, the open display area, and the academic research and office area. The Yichun City Museum has one entrance hall, seven basic exhibition halls, and two temporary exhibition halls. The exhibitions consist of basic displays and temporary exhibitions. The basic displays revolve around Yichun's historical evolution and characteristic brand culture, and are divided into five major parts: historical civilization, modern history, Zen culture, folk culture, and natural ecology, fully integrating natural and humanistic concepts to comprehensively showcase the historical and cultural connotations of Yichun. Temporary exhibitions are regularly introduced through independent planning and external exchanges, featuring new themes that are distinctive and rich in content. The Yichun City Museum has a total collection of 11,225 items, including 1,104 precious cultural relics (13 of which are first-level, 75 are second-level, and 1,016 are third-level). The Yichun City Museum's exhibitions use a concentrated display of a large number of cultural relics to interpret the rich historical civilization of Yichun.
