The best time to visit Wuyushan is from late September to National Day. I didn't expect autumn in Northeast China to be so beautiful. There weren't many people either. Sharing my 3-day self-driving route during National Day last year. - 🚗 Transportation: Car rental, departing from Harbin. The most beautiful scenery in Yichun is on the road. 🕐 Time: 3 days and 2 nights. Due to time constraints, I didn't take the loop line. 📍 Route: Harbin - Yichun - Jiayin - Harbin 📒 Specific itinerary Day 1: Harbin - Yichun Wuyingshan National Forest Park - Stay in Tangwang County Day 2: Tangwang County - Tangwang River Forest and Stone Scenic Area - Jiayin Riverside Park Sino-Russian Border - Stay in Jiayin Day 3: Jiayin - Jinshan Deer Park - Wudai Highway - Harbin - 🌳 Attraction tips ▫️ Wuyingshan National Forest Park There will be a bit of congestion when leaving Harbin City during National Day, so try to leave early. You can go directly to the Wuyingshan Forest Park, which is farther away. You will arrive around the afternoon. If you want to feed squirrels, it may be difficult to encounter them. However, the lake at the entrance of the scenic area and Tianshicun Lake are very suitable for viewing Wuyushan. The reflection in the water is really beautiful. ▫️ Tangwang River Forest and Stone Scenic Area Compared to Wuyingshan, I prefer here. It feels like a primeval forest. It's easy to encounter squirrels coming to eat melon seeds. The scenic area is divided into five areas. If you want to hike and explore carefully, you will need a whole day. ▫️ Jiayin Riverside Park An open park. The village on the opposite bank is Russia. You can take a cruise to the middle of the river. The scenery on the riverside in the evening is very beautiful. Jiayin is also a very distinctive border town. You can buy many Russian specialties. ▫️ Jinshan Deer Park The scenery is beautiful, with hills, wooden houses, streams, and deer. It's very photogenic. There are still relatively many people here during National Day. When I went in the afternoon, many deer were full, but you can still interact with them. It's better to wear light-colored clothes for photos. ▫️ Wudai Highway A beautiful road. You can navigate here when returning to Harbin. ▫️ Tangwang County Accommodation Recommendation: Asia-Europe Castle Hotel. It really has the appearance and interior structure of an ancient castle. There are knight armors in the lobby. The surrounding scenery is also very beautiful. The environment is regular, but it's a very interesting experience. - 🧥 Temperature: The temperature in the morning and evening during National Day is relatively low, but a windproof jacket and a sweatshirt are basically enough. You won't be too cold in a shirt and sweater during the day. 🙋🏻 Tips for playing: ▫️ During National Day, the daylight hours in Heilongjiang are relatively short. The sun sets around 5 pm, so it's better to leave early in the morning. ▫️ The scenery along the way is beautiful. Due to time constraints, I only visited the key scenic spots. If you have enough time, try to arrange a self-driving trip for about five days.
