Covering 13,000 square meters, the main structure consists of the "Gate of the Three Gorges," "Homeland," and "New Garden." The design embodies the classic gardens of the region, and the exterior, built with local stone and wood, blends seamlessly with the landscape of Zigui, as if growing naturally from the environment. 📜 Historical Background and Construction This museum holds immense significance, commemorating the massive relocation effort undertaken for the Three Gorges Project. From its groundbreaking in March 2021 to its opening in June 2024, with a total investment of 198 million yuan, it stands as the first migration-themed museum in Hubei Province. It carries a profound historical memory and is the third migration museum in the Three Gorges Reservoir area. 🎨 Exhibition Content and Features The museum boasts a rich collection, with eight sections showcasing the migration culture and the culture of the Gorge River.
