My Favorite Hidden Village in Huizhou｜Nanping

🌟Highlights: Nanping Ancient Town - A village with deep alleys, ancestral halls, and ancient residences marked by the passage of time, made famous by the films 'Ju Dou' and 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon' which were shot here. The village has nearly 300 ancient buildings from the Ming and Qing dynasties, 36 wells, and 72 alleys. Along the main axis of the village, which stretches over 200 meters from the head to the tail, there are still several ancestral halls and a 500+ year-old camphor tree. ❤Recommended Reasons: If you like tranquility, you must come here. There are very few tourists, and even fewer stay overnight. Unlike Hongcun, it is not commercialized, and there are no guides like in Chengkan. You can leisurely stroll through the ink-washed Huizhou-style buildings with white walls and black tiles, feeling very comfortable. ✅Must Experience: Perfect Photo Spot - The rooftop of Xiaoyanglou Inn, 10 yuan per person, offers a view of the entire village's architecture, distant rice fields, and green mountains.
