Yeongwol New Road Travel Where Nature, History, and Present Coexist🌿💚

I visited Yeongwol when I was young, and this is my third visit as an adult, but I was surprised by the many spots I saw for the first time this time. There are many places I want to show you, but why am I only uploading 10 photos? I'll try to squeeze them into 10 photos! 1️⃣Yeongwol Seobu Market (Yeongwol NewTroad 2nd Street) A representative traditional market in Yeongwol, there's nothing you can't find, including various foods, groceries, and daily necessities! Milbeoljeonbyeong is famous, so if you come to Yeongwol, be sure to eat it at Seobu Market! 2️⃣Gwanpungheon (Yeongwol NewTroad 2nd Street) This building was used as a government office during the Joseon Dynasty, and you can take such pretty pictures. In particular, there is a huge ginkgo tree on the left side of Gwanpungheon. When I visited in the fall, it was really spectacular when it turned yellow! 3️⃣ Cheongnok Tea House (Yeongwol Newtrod 2nd Street) A famous tourist spot in Yeongwol that is famous for being the filming location for the movie Radio Star! The interior is still run in a retro style, and you can taste Ssanghwacha and other teas. 4️⃣ Laundry (Yeongwol Newtrod 2nd Street) There is a laundry in Yeongwol that is still run in a traditional way! You can dip your feet in the waterway with clear water flowing, and you can occasionally see the mothers of the neighborhood doing their laundry in a traditional way. 5️⃣ Mulmuri Valley Ecological Wetland (Yeongwol Newtrod 1st Street) Mulmuri Valley's ecological wetland with a beautiful fir forest. A detailed description is attached as a caption in the previous reel! ✔️If you're lucky, you can meet deer at Neungmalmot (Jangneung Deer Sculpture Park), so it's great for a walk together. ✔️Jangneung, the tomb of King Danjong, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is also nearby! ✔️Take a leisurely walk along the Neungmalmot-Jangneung-Mulmuri Valley Ecological Wetland Course and heal yourself🌿 6️⃣Sesimdawon (Yeongwol New Road 1st Street) A small tea house in the front yard of Bodeoksa Temple. The atmosphere of the tea house with an old atmosphere is great, and the lotus flowers in full bloom in the front yard are so pretty. It's also close to the walking course introduced in number 5, so it's great for a walk while enjoying a cup of coffee. 7️⃣Yeongwol Station (Yeongwol New Road 3rd Street) Yeongwol Station, the starting point of Yeongwol travel, designated as a railway cultural asset. It's a place you'll pass by at least once if you're traveling by foot, but it's definitely worth stopping by. ✔️The Dasulgi Haejangguk at Seongho Restaurant right in front of Yeongwol Station is so famous and delicious that people line up to eat it! 8️⃣Top: Yeongwol this month Bottom: Yeongwol Salt Bread (Yeongwol New Road 3-gil) If you come to Yeongwol, you must visit this bakery! ✔️Yeongwol's New Road 3-gil holds the Deokpo 5-day market, and if you come on the 4th and 9th of every month, there are more things to see. 9️⃣Yeongwol Travel Lounge (Yeongwol New Road 3-gil) A place you must visit when you travel to Yeongwol. You can store your luggage for free, use Wi-Fi, and charge your phone for free, and you can also find travel books by various authors for free. 🔟Geumgangjeong (Yeongwol New Road 3-gil) A place where you can enjoy the blue Donggang River and the beautiful Yeongwol New Road 3-gil at a glance. ✔️You can also visit Geumgang Park Eco Studio, where you can experience the giant speaker Sound Hug, and Yeongwol Cathedral, which has a history of over 70 years. ✔️The nearby Butumak Chogye Noodle House is also a very famous restaurant with long lines!
