Places with fast-flowing water, such as mountain streams or the upper reaches of rivers, are rich in oxygen and clean water, making them a good environment for mayflies, swarmers, dragonflies, and several types of dragonflies to live. There are about 20,000 species of butterflies in 15 families around the world, and most of them live in tropical and subtropical regions near the equator.
