| Lama Temple.◾️The Lama Temple is located next to the Lugu Lake Grass Sea and is a religious site of the oldest Bon sect of Tibetan Buddhism, the Black Sect. In addition to their original religion, the Mosuo people of Lugu Lake also believe in Lamaism. ◾️Since Lamaism was introduced to the Lugu Lake area, local temples of the Black and Yellow sects have been built one after another. The Lama Temple is the only Black Sect temple in Lugu Lake. Every year, the temple holds a grand Lama conference, and the lamas in the temple perform ceremonies and performances according to tradition. The Buddha Sunning and Sun God Sacrifice activities held on the 15th of the winter month are major festivals for the Mosuo people.
