Yantai Development Zone Sail Square is located to the west of the Yellow Bohai New District City Planning Exhibition Center and to the north of Binhai Road, with a planned construction area of about 92,000 square meters. The square is on the same spatial axis as the Fort Tower, and it blends with the Octagonal Bay New City, implying the past, present and future. The Time Tower project of Sail Square won the British AR "Future Architecture Award" in 2021. It was designed by the international architectural team OPEN. The concept is to pay tribute to nature and awaken people's yearning for nature, and it also carries cultural functions.
