24 hours in the private garden 📍Chonggou·Bing'ou Pavilion 🚌 Located in downtown Yangzhou, near Pishi Street and Dongguan Street, it's quite convenient to travel around. The homestay was originally the former residence of Zhang Bingyan, a cultural guardian of Yangzhou, and it features Hui-style garden architecture throughout. Each room is situated in a separate courtyard, with an average of 2-3 rooms per courtyard. Although it's in the city center, the environment is quite peaceful and private, giving a sense of "great seclusion in the bustling city." Each courtyard has a different layout, either by the water or listening to the wind from a building. My friend and I stayed on the second floor, and since no one was staying on the floor below that day, we had a spacious courtyard all to ourselves. The room also had a small refrigerator stocked with mineral water, beer, cola, and coconut juice, which I found quite considerate. 🔸Bing'ou Pavilion·Xi Banquet Dining area, featuring local Huaiyang cuisine. Breakfast was quite rich, with dumplings, salted meat, five-stuffed buns, hot dry silk, pine nut shumai, etc. After the meal, we enjoyed some tea, perfectly eliminating the greasy feeling. 🔸Yuanyi Tea Room After a nap, my friend and I went for afternoon tea. The setup was quite elegant, and the courtyard, tea, and new Chinese-style outfits made for great photos. 🔸There are also experiences with new Chinese-style clothing, cultural and creative shops, coffee shops, etc. Overall, it's quite fun. In the summer heat, when you don't want to go out, this place is enough to keep you entertained all day! Under the night sky, Bing'ou Pavilion is lit up, with stars twinkling. Walking with friends, this moment of leisure is vividly realized! Yangzhou is wonderful, and I will definitely come back next time!
