The Unintentional Creation of 'Puyuan' in Yangzhou!

Yangzhou Dinghuo Town is a famous hometown of flowers and trees. At the north end of the town, there is a 'Puyuan' covering more than 1,000 acres. Here, trees such as hackberries, camphor trees, osmanthus, red maples, crape myrtles, and pines and cypresses stand tall and gather together. Among the rocks, ponds, and waters, flowers of different seasons complement the tall trees, with green leaves setting off the flowers, enhancing each other's beauty. The characteristic of 'Puyuan': It is the largest hackberry storage base in Jiangsu and even in the whole country, hence the name; most of the scenic buildings in the garden are made of blue bricks, such as the majestic imitation ancient city walls and the hollow round gates, which are unique. The treasure of the garden is an ancient crape myrtle tree with a history of over 800 years. The tree resembles a reclining dragon and is the only irreplaceable 'earth dragon' in China. Puyuan was established in 2007. At the beginning of its construction, the owner only wanted to turn it into a botanical garden for tree species. As the supporting facilities such as rockeries, lakes, and roads in the garden were gradually improved, it has become a new attraction in Yangzhou, a 3A-level scenic spot (free of charge).
