Climbing Qiling Pagoda to gaze into the distance, one realizes that the green willows and city walls are Yangzhou. 3⃣Ge Garden ⏰07:30-17:30 🎫48 🎋If you can't make it early, go late, after sunset when the visitors disperse, you can see the beauty of one of China's four famous gardens: The name of the garden comes from bamboo, with the spring breeze swaying, the greenery is just right; stone is the soul of the garden, to see the rockery of the four seasons requires a lot of imagination. 🚪The north gate is entry only, the east gate is exit only, the south gate allows both entry and exit, recommended to start from the north gate. 4⃣Heyuan ⏰ 07:30-17:30 🎫48 🪟The top garden of the late Qing Dynasty, with corridors, windows, pavilions, and mountains, four 'number ones in the world', filming locations for 'Marrying the Wrong Bride' and 'My Fair Princess', the spring flowers are dense, every bit is a reason not to miss Heyuan when you come to Yangzhou. 5⃣China Grand Canal Museum ⏰Tuesday-Sunday 09:00-17:00 (entry stops at 16:00) 🎫Free admission, book seven days in advance, tickets released daily at 19:00 🎞 A total of 12 halls, each hall is wonderful: Hall 1 to appreciate the past and present of the Grand Canal, Hall 2 to take a sand boat to watch the ancient canal sides, Hall 8 to enjoy a visual feast of poetry and water transport, and so on... 🎨Hall 3's 'Qingjiangpu Post' is hidden in the alley, with many seals and the silk postcards are very attractive. 🍥｜Cuisine ▫Yechun: Pingshan Hall store is next to Slender West Lake and Daming Temple ▫Simple Tea and Plain Rice: It's cheap and quite good ▫Yangzhou Yogurt: You must try it when you come 📝｜Tips ▫There are lacquer fan stalls at almost every scenic spot, with similar prices, make one when you see it, you can do it yourself, buy early to use as a photo prop! ▫The annual card 'Yangzhou Travel & Leisure Card A' is a good choice, 238 per card, includes 11 fee-paying scenic spots including popular ones, valid for one year with unlimited visits.
