For the return trip, take the electric cart from Xianggong Mountain to the Fishing Village Pier, then take the ferry back to Xingping. ⚠️But!! I sincerely recommend everyone to start early! We set off too late, and spent too much time eating and playing by the Li River. By the time we reached Xianggong Mountain, it was already 5 PM, so there was no time to climb to the top for the full view… this was the biggest regret of the trip😢 If you have kids or want a more relaxed pace, you can do it like this: ✅After Nine Horse Painting Hill, take the electric cart directly up to Xianggong Mountain (the last part is an uphill road, no need to walk it) ✅Save your energy and time for hiking Xianggong Mountain and enjoying the summit view ✅If you have enough time, you can also visit the popular coffee shop near Xianggong Mountain, the scenery there is amazing too The joy of hiking is probably: Experiencing the truest scenery in the slowest way. Every step is your own pace, every glance reveals a different landscape. Though a bit tiring, with the river breeze blowing, sunshine warming your body, and layers of mountains before your eyes… it’s truly worth it. Next time, I will definitely start earlier and capture that view from the mountaintop in my memory✨
